you did a wonderful job putting your colors together. I love your focus fabric in the center too. I have not done the braid pattern yet, was it relatively easy?

I had help from Jane Hardy Miller's book "French Braid Quilts" to learn about the technique and fabric/color choices. It's a great book and I'd definitely recommend it to anyone interested in French Braids and variations thereof. All in all I thought it went together fairly easily. The only trouble I ran into was when it came time to cut the tails off both sides (i.e. cut the sides straight)...my runner looks straight, but it's not really perfectly straight...would be something I would want to work on before making a full sized quilt with multiple braids. I'd recommend starting with a runner for that reason, I guess.
