Talk-About Books! (and a question on which batting you'd want)
I have now made five.
I finally have the measurements finalized, and I have a nice collection of fabrics selected and cut. I'm working on the best fabric for the title pages. I found great markers. I made 14 peek-a-boo blocks (these are from the "Surprise" quilt by kariepatch patterns), but need to work on another batch.
Colors are my focus now. I want to keep it mostly in primary colors. I love Moda Swirls and Marbles.
Check out the difference in puffiness between the cotton and poly battings. Which would you want?
Be sure to see the bananas, balloons, frogs, cities...!
I'll attach pics for #5 next.

Sorry for the delay--I had to get horses off grass!
Grrr--the photos were listed in opposite order so I deleted the cover of the first instead of the added cover to the 2nd book. And too much time passed so I can't edit. Good grief! I added it at the bottom...

They are super cute and I think I would prefer the cotton. They would be easier handled and would seem to lay smoother when quilting. You did a really nice job on them. I might just make one for my great grandson. I know he would love it. His mother( my only granddaughter) is a school teacher.
