Oh Ladies - all of you have been very kind about my French Braid. Thank you for all your wonderful comments.

It is 8.15am here in the UK. It is cold, but I think the snow is melting a bit. Lynnie25 - I am very envious of you going through your summer - I would give my eye-teeth to see a bit of sunshine right now!

jljack - I have the cutting and piecing instructions which I got from a class. The instructions are not really very clear, and I was going to re-write them sometime, but you are welcome to them - just PM me with an email, and I will scan them in and send them via attachment. This was the first French Braid that I have done, and so was a bit of a sharp learning curve. However, I think the results were worth it!

Just so that you know that there really IS snow on the ground, here is a pic of outside our house ...

Thankyou SulaBud for your kind comment! I guess you have just as much (or even more) snow as us!

I think I would make another one, but not in Christmas Fabric: I also think I would like two clear days with no distractions, in order to finish it properly!

I have decided to make it into a tablecloth and not worry if it gets dirty!

if the mistake can't be seen on a galloping horse, then not to worry - no onw else will notice them. We all are our own worse critics. and only we know the mistakes on our quilts
