I completed my french braid top. I think it turned out pretty well. The braids stretched a little when I sewed them together and I had to trim some off the bottoms. It finished at about the size I wanted. It is 80x97 inches. I just need to piece a back and then I will send this one to the Longarmer because I don't want to wrestle under my machine. Plus, it is a special gift and I want it to be quilted nicely.

It is beautiful. Yes those can stretch easily. This is one quilt that the strips really need to be starched and it will help a lot. It looks like you did a great job of getting it square. It is lovely. I hope the person receiving it knows what a treasure they are getting.
