    French General Marie Antoinette

First attempt at using a panel. No pattern just a design on the go. Is it perfect- hardly but nevertheless, I am pleased with it. After its quilted I will bind it with the dark brown fabric.

Pretty! You did a great job! I agree, brown binding will finish it nicely.

Nice panel to start with. But, the colors and patchwork you used with it are outstanding. Great looking top.

I really like that and congratulations on your own design. I always like white/cream and red/brick colors together and yours really fits the bill. Thanks for sharing.

Beautiful job! I love it! I have a stars panel that I started a few years ago for my bro-in-law who was a veteran. He had cancer and passed 2 years ago. I wanted to do the pinwheels around it but being a new quilter couldn’t get it figured out before he passed. Still want to finish it for his daughter one day. Looking carefully at yours for help! Thanks for sharing!

Several years ago I made a quilt with French General fabrics for my niece, as the colors matched her school colors, Bradley University. That panel is a lot of fun. Please show us the quilted finish.
