I used white thread on the front and back..I wanted all of her (hard work) peiced flowers to shine through so I just did a loose Mctavishing sort of a style of quilting in all the white background areas..and also in the last border.This made the flowers pop out and also the green sashing. In some of the flowers I would put a swirl here or there to just highlight the flower a bit and make it a bit whimsy.
