    I had a friend like that. All gruffy and she had a heart of gold; would do anything for you. She was my quilting partner and she died last year. I sure miss that friend.

    Lucky you. I used to go to an antique store and there was a gruff old lady working there. We talked about quilts and one day she gave me a suitcase she had picked up from an auction. It was full of double wedding ring blocks, just needs the ends to be put together. There were antique patterns and other wonderful things too. I will never forget her generosity. You were blessed.
