Default Friendship Medallion from swapped, batik half-square triangles

Seven of my friends decided to make and swap 2 1/2 inch half square triangles. We used the Laundry Basket papers to make them and established that we would use batiks and our lights would fall more into the creamy as opposed to true whites. This is my result. I am very pleased with it. The dark border amd the binding were made from fabric that I won at a Ricky Tims seminar in Asheville, N. C. a couple of years ago. The Ricky Tims fabric is hand dyed and the varigations in color pick up many of the colors in the quilt.

Beautiful quilt! Your border fabric relates well to the center.
