i really like your string stars! I have a corner in my sewing room where the strings are breeding and I've been stalling cause could only think of the standard string quilt!

Lovely quilt. I think your idea of cutting and re-jigging is a good one, the white spaces work really well. Love the backing too and great quilting.

Great idea to make the blocks and then cut them up to make the friendship blocks. Thank you for sharing your idea and a photo of your cheerful quilt!
