Beautiful runners! I love the quilting on your Sunflower runner. I'm currently finishing up a table runner for my Mom (my 2nd project) and I honestly spent more time trying to decide on the backing fabric than anything else. LOL I'm trying to teach myself how to hand quilt and hope I don't ruin the runner in the process.

Thank you very much. I enjoyed the quilting process. I wish I could hand quilt, but my hands just won't allow me to. You will do fine. There are always books, tutorials and quilty friends that are willing to impart a little help when needed. A dear friend of mine does her quilting by hand (after machine piecing her top) and just loves the peace she feels just by pushing her needle through the layers. She said she prays for the recipient as she quilts.

Sometimes it does take a while to decide on your backing or other components of your quilty project. Take all the time you want with this, nothing wrong with that. Enjoy the process and the journey! Good luck with your table runner. I hope you'll share a pic of it when you're ready to.

Happy sewing,
