Very cute! What are you planning for a border? I'm envisioning a not so square border. So when finished it resembles a lily pad.... :-)

How FUN! I'm with MISStreated - a wavy or curvy border might be just the thing!

Thats lovely, very original I think that design would make a very good bath mat I could picture it in my bathroom. the colours you have picked are just right.

Well, I had planned a square border and have a stripy fabric to use . . . I'm not sure I have the ability to do something curvy . . . :?:

Very cute and nice. I still want to do one for my nephew when I can. It's amazing the number of designs for "Frog Pond" that have shown up over time. Kids must love 'em, I know my kid inside does. Anyway, ribbit, ribbit, great job!

Cute! Frogs have really become popular, like Steve said. I have a couple patterns on my list with the cute little critters.

I have to tell you. My son walked in when I had your post up and he thought the quilt was fabulous.

The pattern is called "Splash Party" from Color Me Patterns 1994. Not sure if it is still available. A friend gave me hers.

I so appreciate all the compliments! Very nice to hear!

I can almost hear those frogs and the blue fabric you found for the "pond" is terrific. (putting my two cents in---I would have major trouble with a "curvey" border and think a square one would be just fine) We can't wait to see it finished!

I really like the quilt. The pattern is from 1994 and frogs are very popular now. You picked great colors. I would like to make one for myself. Guess I am still a kid inside somewhere. :D

I made a froggy quilt for our bed and came up with a brain storm of putting a plain water colored material and embrodered polliwogs in the border, in my case the sashing, and hand quilted water ripples.

I really like the frog blocks, think I will use it for my great grandson's next quilt. Would love to see your finished quilt.
