Default Fun and Bright Quilt

This is my 1st attempt at posting a picture since the format changed so I hope it works! This is a quilt top I just finished. The pattern can be found it the book "Dog Cabin and Others: a Fast Fun Theme-Quilt Project" by Kay Mackenzie. It's my 1st attempt at a piano key border as well as doing a polka dot border. I'm not totally thrilled with the polka dots where I pieced them but it was a "live and learn" project. I think I bought the fabric from someone on this board a year or more ago. It's funny because after I got it all finished I looked at the back of the book again and noticed that Kay used almost the same exact fabric for one of her examples...only difference is mine is dogs and hers was cats!

Oh, that is one adorable quilt! I love it! Personally, I LOVE the polka dots & think they look great just where they are. I'm serious... this is a cutie! Fun & bright is right! Thanks for sharing!

Thanks everyone. This started out as a little baby quilt and is now a very big baby/youth quilt! At least some of the fabric is Mary Englbreit (I doubt I spelled that right but you get the idea). I'm not sure about all of it. The pattern is super fast and easy. I don't normally like making more than 1 of a quilt pattern but I enjoyed this one so much I've bought fabric to do 2 more! I'm not sure who this quilt will go to...either 1 of the grandsons or perhaps a gift for a raffle for one of the local dog rescue places. ..
