TLRNHI-hate to admit it but bought that wedding ring quilt before I took up quilting. It is one of those 39 dollar ones that came with 3 shams.
Can't make one for that and Im sure it was made with slave labor.

What a great looking quilt! I love it! The colors are something I would pick out, too.....so if you decide to give it away.......... 8) Is Fun and Done the name of the quilt? I'll have to look that up.

I love this! Very trendy colors and a cute pattern.

I have a few of those cheapie ones, too. They are great for dragging around outside because it doesn't matter if they get stained or ruined. I guess I never thought about who made it. I figured it was done with machines somewhere.

Fun and Done is a quilt as you go method that is pretty easy to do.
Bayside quilting has all the patterns and ruler.

That's beautiful Rose Marie - I love how you used the same fabric for the sashing as the corner triangles - creates a wonderful secondary design!

I agree I think the color of the sashing being the same makes it look like the fabric is threaded through and that is what makes it work so well! I love patterns like this that have an optical illusion going on as well.
You did a great job on it Rose Marie! Classic colors for a southwestern for sure!

Thank you so much. Words of encouragement always feel so good.
The sashing is the back brought to the front and connected to the next block then sewn down on both sides. It takes 4 blocks to make the design.

I had a feeling it was a "quilt as you go" quilt. I love doing those. They stand up well, also, with washing, etc.

    RoseMarie,

I love that quilt. The colors are beautiful and I love the pattern. I've been looking for a pattern to make a quilt for my nephew, and I think I've found it! Thank you so much! I had never heard of Fun and Done.
