Would love to know your math formula. Intriguing pattern - great job. This could probably be done with paper piecing also. hmmm food for thought.

That is very pretty. Are you doing EPP? Or just cutting triangles? It's neat they way you keep getting smaller. My fingers would get in the way of your small ones.

I have used this pattern a number of times. It is in my all time favorite book: Scrap Quilts by Judy Martin. An oldie but goodie. The pattern is called Oriental Star. Geta has taken it a few steps further but you can find the basics there without having to do the math.
