This is a quilt pieced by Marlene and she did a beautiful job, pay attention to the cute applique and embroidery work. What a work of art. I had a lot of fun quilting this one freehand on my Long Arm! You can see more on my blog by clicking the link in my signature.

    I am curious though...
Your quilting is beautiful as are the quilts you work on.
My question is with this much quilting on a quilt, does it make the quilt "stiff" and compromise the "snuggle" factor?

    Thank You!
The quilts are more stiff but the quilts I quilt are usually for show and not to snuggle with. This particular quilt is a wall hanging.

    Beautiful!

Is that quilt top a pattern or did she make it up as she went along? It looks kind of like how I've done one--make many squares and work them together. It's so sweet!!
