Bueniebabe no I didn't have a pattern! I saw a picture somewhere and decided to have a play!! When I'd put the crayon strips together I thought the quilt looked too long and thin....so played around with a few ideas to add width....then had a eureka moment...added a 6 1/2" black border on right hand side and appliquéd the name!!! Ta da!!!! Most of my quilts 'evolve'!!! I'm a Taurus..so just 'go' for it!!! No quilt police around here!!!!

Thank you for showing us your quilt. Yesterday I was pondering what to do with some black fabric I bought last year. I just love the way you used your scraps! The black really makes the crayons colors pop. Did you follow a pattern?

that's so cute and the crayons are very cool. what a brilliant idea. I love the colors and how you cordinated them into the crayons. That's so cool how the black really makes the whole quilt pop. what a lucky boy.

Coventry UK, there you go. I'm a gemini and I always go for it too after a little bit of thinking, of course.
