This one is De Colores from Fatcat site. Very colorful, yes?
I'm not really sure if I like him or not. I'm thinking he might have to "crow" (grow) on me.
I'm thinking it's that purple right in the front I don't like. I could always cut a different print fabric to go there, just iron over top of it.

If you iron the rooster it might loosen enough to pull off...

But it is beautiful! I printed that pattern but ran out of room before I ran out of patterns!

Are you enjoying the chickens yet?

I might try that since I'm only going to get that piece of purple out of there, might work. If not, I'll just cut a piece and put over it. Not a big deal.
I sort of got him off kilter on the block. Oh well...I can always add a border to him.

The block, I think, is 16 inches

Thanks Bev. Now I have to figure out which one to do next, BUT....I have to go to store and buy more ink cartridge for printer :(
Hopefully they stock the kind I have, if not, I have to go and find the Office Supply Store.

Patti.....just take your time putting him together. I had to recut some of the pieces. They just didn't want to go together like the picture. I even marked the pieces too!
Took me about an hour to get him all layed out.

making himself useful and annoying at the same time, huh...(alarm clock).
    Is the purple his wing?
You did great, whether you leave this part or change it. I can only fit so many on my lap...may have to reconsider this one...I like animated 'big mouths', lol!!!

He's cute Terri! :) If you run your iron over him you can remove your applique.

    Thanks!
It wasn't that it was hard, it was just a pain in the buttocks!!
I traced ALL patterns the same way, ironed the stuff on the fabric the same way, but some came out backwards. Don't know how that happened. But, like I said in a previous post....the "setting" of the pieces was a bit hard to follow.

He's cute, but I agree with you when I look at him I'm looking at the purple first. I love the chickens though!

He's my favorite of all you've done so far!! This just happily shouts "GOOD MORNING!" Perfect colors! If the purple changes--it'll still be awesome.

    Thanks Karla!
The purple WILL change. Just have to dig to the bottom of my scrap bin and see what I have in there.

Terri, you've inspired me. I've been meaning to make that rooster for several years. Now I need to decide which direction he should face.
