I downloaded the designs too but haven't started it. Love the colors you chose and the chicken wire background. Would love to see it after you quilt it as I have no ideas at all to offer. It's a lovely fun quilt.

Too cute, Anael....I did a chicken quilt a couple years ago and had it quilted(I just could not handle it myself). The longarmer did echo around each chicken so that each chick "popped". Then she did large chicken wire motif in the sashing and some very large peaks and valleys in the border separating strip and waves in the border. Since the emphasis was on the chickens, echoing, I thought, was perfect.....

What a fantastic funky chicken quilt, if my dear sister were still with is, I'd be tempted to make it for her, although I did make her a great chicken quilt with a pattern from Shar Jorgensen and her youngest daughter now has it in her protective custody.
