Wise decision. When you can't shop - sew! You made some great looking quilts.

You've been productive. You pieced 5 quilts and you DIDN'T make a dent in your stash??? How much of a stash do you have? I'm in the process of piecing a royal squares quilt and realized that all I succeeded in doing was using up a small portion of the 2 1/2" strips that I have. Prior to starting this rs quilt, I had 2 columns of strips. I've used up maybe 1/2 of one column. My columns aren't that tall, maybe 12". I think if I made 5 quilts, that would make a dent in MY stash. Good luck in your fabric purchasing diet...and making a dent in your stash!

I'd say you made very good use of your time off from work and played a lot.

Loved all of them. Didn't you hear the scraps multiplying while you were sleeping? I can also hear the grass growing. Bull@)&"## I sleep like a rock ! Hugs

My gosh woman you got a lot done on your furlough! If you accomplish that much at work, no wonder they have to furlough you. They can't begin to pay you what you are worth!
