I agree with the other responses to extend it, however do whatever you feel like doing, and you cannot go wrong. It's a lovely quilt.

You don't have to, the way you have it, looks like they are standing on the edge of a mountain top.

Yes, it makes it look like the goat on the right will fall off with one wrong step. They are very cute, like their expressions. It is like they are questioning what you will do next. More grass, please?

On first view I thought the grass should be extended, but after reading comments about hills and goats, I looked again and decided it is perfect as is! One goat is a hair taller than the other, as it was the highest spot available. Billy and the kid is a cute name, or perhaps just Goats on a Hill or Give a Goat a Grassy Hill.

I would extend the grass to the borders and then over them into the sashing so it goes outside the frame. I like things that look like they're "outside the box."

Looks like a lot of folks agree with extending the border.
Count me on that side of the fence, please!
I love their expressions and the way their heads are cocked.

I really like it just as it is. All goats get on top of mounds, if they can, and these two have just the right expressions for just getting caught munching on the best hill.

They are fine as they are. (The expression on the face of the goat to the left is priceless.)

Extend on both sides - with shorter grass on the left and slightly longer on the right. Lovely!

Absolutely stunning! I was wondering if you have already named it? Would you consider 'Thelma and Louise'? They do look like they are up to something!

I say yes and your could go on top of the black border some to extend it a bit. try the effect and see what you think. if not to the border yes.
SMILE- it will make everyone wonder what you are up to.

    Yes, absolutely.
A dog is not "almost human" and I know of no greater insult to the canine race than to describe it as such.
