    I agree with the other responses to extend it, however do whatever you feel like doing, and you cannot go wrong. It's a lovely quilt.

    Yes, it makes it look like the goat on the right will fall off with one wrong step. They are very cute, like their expressions. It is like they are questioning what you will do next. More grass, please?

    On first view I thought the grass should be extended, but after reading comments about hills and goats, I looked again and decided it is perfect as is! One goat is a hair taller than the other, as it was the highest spot available. Billy and the kid is a cute name, or perhaps just Goats on a Hill or Give a Goat a Grassy Hill.

    I would extend the grass to the borders and then over them into the sashing so it goes outside the frame. I like things that look like they're "outside the box."

    Looks like a lot of folks agree with extending the border.
