    What a treasure. Probably with a good cleaning, oiling and checking the cords will probably be good as new.

    I found one this past week-end too. Think mine is a little newer model but still very old. Have tried mine out and it sew like a dream. Hope to post a picture later of her. Congrats on your find.

    You are going to LOVE her! I have one in a turquoise color. The dial on the base toward the right side will lower and raise the feed dogs in 3 positions! This is a real workhorse of a machine. Sews some pretty heavy duty stuff. Hope you can get it working. It would be worth fixing if need be.
