This is called Garden Tiles. It's a quilt designed by a Myrtle Beach, SC quilt designer, Donna Matheson.

I couldn't believe I finally got this much done so far. I haven't added the borders yet. It will have a narrow yellow border with a wide large flower border and the orange/red print will be the backing and binding. After it's quilted, small fabric flowers are attached with itsy, bitsy baby buttons in the centers of the black areas. (The black areas are three dimensional)

Not normally my style of quilts but my grandaughter will love it and that's all that matters, lol!

Beautiful so far! Can't wait to see with buttons on and border/binding! Construction of this quilt looks challenging by working on the curves. Hope it wasn't as hard as it looks. Great job! Beautiful fabs too! :-o   :-)

It's lovely and looks like it was difficult to do.
