Olivia is going to fall in love with this quilt...very feminine and pretty. She is lucky to have such a nice dad who has a wonderful talent for quilting.

can't wait to see it finished, with her smiling eyes peaking out from under her new quilt.

warm quilt hugs, sue

I decided to extend the inner border through the outer border to the quilt edge to continue the trellis theme of the quilt. Also, I used the scraps to create small pinwheel blocks for the corners. Next, on to quilting it!
Eddie: This turned out really pretty. Looks so soft and inviting. What are you using for the back? Just curious.

Question: Is the author of your pattern book Nicky and Pam Lintott?

I'll be machine quilting it, "stitch-in-the-ditch". I want to get a little more experienced before I try free-motion quilting.
