I like flying geese quilts and this one is really nice. I like the dark green border. Great job. What method did you use for doing the FG?

Thanks to all of you for your compliments. You're all so sweet.
Many mistakes and had to add more borders to get to queen size. (Will never quilt one that big again!)
This pattern came out of a book called "Cutting Corners" by JoAnn Hanson. She calls the method Stitch and Trim which leave many small triangles that she also has patterns to use up scraps. You cut the squares, then mark and sew on the diagonal and trim. Some who took the class used the Eleanore Burns method. I haven't tried this yet but do have the ruler to do it. lol One gal did hers in all dots! What fun!

I have to make 2 corrections on my last post.
To do the flying geese, cut 2 squares and attach to each side of a rectangle. Mark a diagonal and sew each square. Trim away other half of the square (a triangle).
The authors name is Joan Hanson.
I should have taken pics on a ladder, looking down on the quilt and would have a better shot. Or a few people and much room to hold it up while taking the pics.
