    Default Get Well Gnomes

Neighbour had a heart attack early in January. His wife had given him a flannel quilt kit for Christmas and promised to make it over the year. After his heart attack I decided he needed the quilt now so offered to finish it for him. Kit was called "Winter Whimsy" and the fabric must be pretty popular as I miss-cut the outer border and couldn't find any more either locally or online. So a bit of a redesign... My kids chipped in for the backing and batting.
    It is so soft....

Those happy little guys on your quilt are adorable. They are sure to bring get-well smiles to your neighbor. Great job on the finish and helping his wife with the project.

Really nice quilt and a nice thing you and your kids did....
with a little imagination and a change of costume, that fellow could easily be pictured as a gnome.... just saying....
