    Gettysburg quilt

Finally finished my DH's CHRISTMAS quilt it was quite an experience given that some of the measurements were incorrect.
Don't look to close or you can see where the mistakes are!

Very nice quilt. I am sure he will be thrilled to finally get it. Some projects just take longer than others and life does get in the way sometimes.

I love that quilt - I remember when those fabrics came out - I really wanted to do a quilt similar to this - you did a wonderful job - I hope you show us the quilt after the quilting is done - this is a keeper.

We are all so critical of our work. I'm a rank amateur and make lots of mistakes so when you put out the challenge to not look too closely or we'd see mistakes, I took you up on it. I figured seeing that a beautiful quilt like yours has mistakes too would make me feel better.

Well.....I can't find a single mistake! It looks perfect and beautiful to me. I hope you pat yourself on the back for this one.

That's a great quilt! If a shop near a Civil War site had something like that in a kit, that would be a seller for sure!!

We ALL make mistakes because we are human. Love the fabrics you used.
