This is a King quilt (118" x 118") in Churn Dash
pattern with solid center blocks. I wrapped the
back to the front for binding. and used all my
scraps for the backing.
I hand embrodiered the 2 Citadel squares.
He graduated from the Citadel in 1957 and
still loves his school. (after all these years).
I found a lady on Craigslist who had 10 years quilting experience. She had a new LA & wanted to get
experience on her new machine.
She quilted it for me for $40. and supplied the thread.
She did fan leaves in the plain blue blocks and
meandering in the rest.
