Wonderful quilt and he will treasure it. I did have to read the lineage of family a few times until I could figure out the generation. LOL!!! So nice of you to make this beautiful quilt for him.

Love your quilt and his service! I like how you fussy cut the center stars. I just got a piece of fabric today at a garage sale for hardly anything, has 2 yards on it, something with tractor, truck and barn. I want to put with maybe a tractor panel for my husband.

You won some brownie points with this one. You are now her favorite g-ma-in-law!!! This is one of the most perfect patriotic quilt I have laid eyes on. The truck fabric is perfect for the occasion. Definitely thank the entire family for their sacrifice and sharing their soldier to protect our freedom. You don't have to agree with the politics but these people put their lives on the line and walk a path few are brave enough to walk. Thanks to all the service people out there.
