There are many tricks for teaching multiplication tables, but only a few have the eye for design ... and this can't be taught. It is a beautiful quilt!

Thanks! We actually homeschool both of our daughters, for many reasons, but one of them being that she has a rare version of a common syndrome, which requires her to be kept warm as much as possible...something that public schools in upstate NY cannot always guarantee. She's always been so advanced in math so I don't think it will take her long to catch on. She can multiply without a problem but it's the memorizing that's taking her longer.

I'm sure she would love to have others making a quilt she helped to design. She was so proud of how it came out.

Shows that kids are sponges - she has soaked up your quilting knowledge and now giving it back to you twofold.
Great job. Applause to you both

Your little girl has something that doesn't need math.ha. Barny. It is really pretty. Tell her so.
