    You spent a lot of time choosing fabric that is meaningful to him, he will smile looking at each block, he will always remember your thoughtfulness. Great thoughts and good work.

    This is a really "from the heart" gift. I love that everyone contributed to it. Bet you have some fond memories of each fabric square - did you keep a snippet of them for yourself too?

    You all did a great job and I know he will really appreciate the time and effort you put into it. Everytime he looks at it, it will bring back many memories. You all should be very proud of your accomplishment.

    That is awesome! Very individualistic. I love the idea of having him sort out who picked what fabric. that could be fun.
    this would be a great idea for a retirement quilt also.
    To make lots of quilts, is to have lots of scraps, and I do, and I do.
