I developed my love for GWTW because my Mom is crazy about it! You can't imagine how thrilled she would be to have something made from these fabrics. What an inspiration!

That being said, I'm not crazy about the stripes but they barely beat out any of the flowering prints. It's a shame (at least to me) I'd go for the logo/pic print in either color if it didn't have the flower on it.

Do you know in general how soon a second collection gets released after the first?

I mentioned in the Monopoly thread I wasn't into the Oz or Lucy prints but I'd totally buy this for my Mom (and maybe a throw size for me if it turns out well. Honestly too, I'd be more inclined to search for other fabric that coordinates instead of using all the prints of this line.)

I have already posted that I like
Scarlett in her ball gown dress,
for a quilt. Now I think I would like
to add the cream & brown stripe
along with the dark green brocade.
I can just picture it together!!

You're allowed to change your vote... or comment more than once, for sure!

I just got off the phone with Cranston and they said that yes, this will be like "Wizard of Oz" in that they will be releasing more collections. Exactly how many collections isn't known yet, because it depends on how this one goes. But surely they need to include Melanie and Ashley, and no GWTW group would be complete without Mammy!

Well, for the Wizard of Oz group, they released new prints twice a year. That gives the maker something new to show at the spring and fall Quilt Market (the industry's big trade shows).

I would love to see one with Scarlett wearing the gown she made out of curtains, complete with drapery rod across her shoulders. I would definitely buy that one!

Yes, me too! 'Course, nobody will ever ask me to help out with the design process. I can't help but wonder, though, why the one showing Scarlett in her pretty dress only shows her in a single gown. Goodness knows she had enough different ones to choose from! Including the one she made from Miss Ellen's curtain!
