Good Grief, I've become a quilt snob
Can you imagine, I can look at this and say "nothing spectacular" It is gorgeous. While to me there is nothing unusual or special in the quilting. I am so happy to be able to be so brassiere about the quilting. Seven years ago I would have been so thrilled out of my mind to be able to do this. That is when I got my longarm. Now it is just a fast and easy way to quilt this. Though at 118" square, nothing is fast about it. I am thrilled to see how far I have come. I use to put on a quilt and think "oh I hope I don't ruin this".
The quilt top is made by my friend Beth for her daughter. She is extended family so I was thrilled to help her out.. Beth makes the most wonderful tops. One of her many talents is color.

I don't think you have become a quilt snob, you probably think your friends quilt is beautiful but like we tend to do think your/our part of it is just ok. Why is it when someone compliments us - we have to point out mistakes or how our work is nothing special????
