Is this a good start for a scrappy?

Scrappy quilts are fun because you get to see how the colors come together without planning. I just put a scrappy border on my (scrappy) log cabin. The only planning I really did was a.) I didn't want any of the same fabrics touching each other, or being too close to each other, and b.) I tried to avoid similar colors or values being clustered together- for instance, I avoided having a bunch of yellows right next to each other, or clustering lots of lights or darks right next to each other (for the border that is, obviously not for the log cabin blocks). Those are certainly not any kind of "rules" or anything, just my own preference for what I thought would look the best.
You've got a good start! Have fun with it! :)
