I did foster care for many many years and I understand how you can become attached. In my area we had something called permanent foster care. When my guy came to me at age 3, I peitioned for permanent foster care because he had special needs and I knew I couldn't care for him on my own. He's still with me at age 24! My son and daughter consider him their brother and their children call him uncle!

I love love love that quilt. It's beautious :thumbup:

Awwww I have tears in my eyes. I hope and pray he comes back to you too. I am sure he will love his quilt and each time he snuggles under its warmth, he will always remember your arms around him. (((((((HUGS)))))))).
