I picked up a bedskirt at Goddwill last week for $3. Each side is 18" long and is a blue and white stripel I figured it was a great buy, Heavy cotton.

Wow! That is a great find! I did that one time several years ago; just happened to be in the right place at the right time. They were just taking fabric out of a cart and putting it on the shelf. I pushed my buggy over and asked the lady if she could just load it in mine. I did put a few back, but most I kept and used to make charity quilts. I also found the perfect fabric to make a quilt for my grandson. It was several yards of a fabric that was still in stock at JoAnn's; in fact, they still have that fabric. It made the nicest quilt, and I was so happy to have found such a treasure at such a good price. You enjoy!!!
