After many failed attempts to find something interesting at a garage sale, I got lucky I think. There are a pair of tiny Gingher scissors with a leather case, and some other tiny ornate scissors, and many packs of needles, plus in those boxes are templates and patterns and newspapers from the 1960s. Some of it isn't really useful to me, but, I love going through it. I know I will use that plastic hoop and the plastic templates. I paid $15 for everything. They were offering a free bag of fabric, but it wasn't quilting fabric, or even cotton, so I left it there.

Great find! I would have picked it up also; those scissors alone are worth it.

I almost always find some goodie when I am yard sale-ing. Today it was six large trash bags of assorted fabric for $12. I have sorted it and have one large bag of quilting cottons, including new fat quarters and lots of floral prints, plus another of mixed fabric for craft projects that I will keep. The rest I will list on Craigslist. I tell my friends "Let someone else pay full price for things. I like the bargains of yard sales." You did good. Keep it up!
