    That is just beautiful. I am sure she was elated. Great job - now make her a quilt to go with the cake - one that looks just like her cake, but not edible lol -so she can keep it for years to come. Mom you did good!!! Don't you just love working with rolled fondant? When I was making cakes that was my favorite icing to work with.

    Well, not being a cake decorator, I was going to make a joke about printing the photos as we do on quilts. What a surprise to find you actually do! Adding vodka to the icing must make it a big hit. What does that do? I know nothing about decorating cakes!! I would love to see the real thing. And to think in my day we were excited to be able to eat the flowers. How beautiful!!!

    Wow! You could make big bucks making those cakes for sale. It is really beautiful! BTW, I just read that those TV Show cake bakers with the specialty cakes sell them for thousands if $$$!

    Very cute! What a great idea to use pictures on the cake. I might have to borrow that idea for my daughters graduation next year. I have made many cakes with rolled fondants and know how much work they are. Good job!
