Has she seen it yet or is it a surprise. It is great and she is going to love it. I can see her wanting to hang it on the wall in her shop but also wanting to snuggle in it at home too. So sweet of you to do this for her. I really like it.

Very nice. I like the unique fabric you used. But, my favorite is the purple fabric in the border. I can picture that fabric in different colors.
Good job.

It was going to be a surprise, but I showed it to her about a week ago. I needed to get it sandwiched and quilted. Since she is still living with us, I was having trouble finding time to do that without her finding out. She does really like it.

The focus fabric "Goth Girls" is a Michael Miller fabric that is no longer being made. I found 2 pieces of it on e-bay. The black and white with the shears on it is from Hancock of Paducah's catalog. Bought it on-line. The purple and orange are from a local quilt shop. I think it came together well. She is a bright, fun-loving girl and it suits her personality.

Good job.
I bought the purple in Little Rock this summer, but found it in my LQS this week. They also had it in pink. Didn't look to see if it came in other colors as well.
