Graduation Quilt for Jacob (posted for GailG)

My QB friend, GailG sent me this picture of the graduation quilt that she made for her grandson Jacob. And, asked me to post it for her so you all could see her handiwork. Notice the Jacob's Ladder in the quilt. I think she did an awesome job!!!! Don't you? I'm not sure if this will work or not because I couldn't downsize it. Hopefully you will be able to see how beautiful it is.

Thank you so much Leesa. I'm sorry that I'm such a duck at the computer, but it's great to have friends such as you.
This variation of the Jacob's Ladder was seen on the QB several months ago. It was in reds, white, and blues. It inspired me to try a "controlled" scrappy in his school colors. His high school and college colors are the same.

Jacob is my grandson. He waited very patiently until it was done. Well, it's not as "done" as I had planned, but this'll have to do. When I brought it to him, he visited a while with us as everyone there oohed and aahed then he finally asked, "Can I please have it to take a nap?"

Since he was not receiving it for his actual graduation day, I gave him a card and told him that there was a quilt coming named "Climbing Jacob's Ladder Reaching for the Stars" and I included sample pieces of all of the fabrics I was using. He looked at it for quite a while and kept repeating "Cool!, Cool" As soon as the top was complete, I showed it to him, and again, "He said "Oh, Cool! I love it!" When he finally received it six months later, he shivered with delight. His hugs were pretty special, too. He's an awesome kid, doing so well in school.
