Times with DGDs are precious and the time spent doing something constructive is even more precious. I still have an apron that was made by my grandmother and I cherish the memory of the day the apron (actually aprons) were made. I may have been four. She was having trouble threading a hand sewing needle and asked my mother if she would thread the needle for her. She said she could not see the eye of the needle. Being the savy four year old, I wanted to thread it for her. She was a little unsure that I could do it, but did hand the needle and thread to me and I handed her the threaded needle.

Great job--how did you get all the seams to match so perfectly?? She's made something she will love for a long time.

She did an amazing job on her quilt!!! You are so lucky to have a quilting DGD!! I can't wait until mine are a little older so they can learn to quilt!
