Default Grand kid clothes and co-worker zip purse

Took a break from quilting and made a dress and shirt (made shorts for grandson also but forgot to take picture)
Was fun to sew clothes again and do a little embroidery.

Purse is for a co-workers daughter who turned 5..and her daddy is a monster truck kind of a guy--so gave her a pink and purple monster truck of her own

The clothes are so cute ~ great job on all. The purse is very nice, too.

Really love the clothes you made! The fish fabric is adorable and so is the bee on the dress! And I'm sure Taylor loves HER monster truck!

Only funny thing is that Granddaughter loved her dress...put it on and started twirling around...her brother now wants something that twirls! His folks are progressive enough that I could make him a camo skirt...but thinking of making a super hero cape so he can twirl as well! Always make me smile and I remember how fun it was to sew for my kids.

I used to make my own clothes, then make a matching outfit for my daughter with the leftovers, but she is grown and her kids are nearly grown and I haven't sewn clothes in years. Your little outfits and purse are sew cute!

I love your little clothes. I used to sew and embroider all my daughters dresses when she was small. Fun.
I love the idea of the cape for twirling!

Thanks everyone. Had a blast. Now working on baby quilt for my massage therapist who is due in August, and a matching one for the soon to be new babies big brother.
