Wow, your quilts are all beautiful, and so are your Grandchildren.
I bet they love their quilts and will cherish them forever. Nice to see you in the pictures with your Granchildren too.

What great pictures!!! You were right to give them at Thamksgiving - your way of showing thanks to them that they are here for you!!! They look like great kids or should I say young adults. They will cherish the quilts and better yet cherish you for giving them a gift made with so much love. Oh by the way the quilts are just gorgeous. I plan on making quilts for my grandchildren too~~I was thinking about making them for their wedding presents but they are all still young ages 20 months thru 14. I may have to do what you did and give them maybe for high school graduations or just thanksgiving. I have time to think about timing but I do want to start on some soon - one never knows - my brother passed suddenly at 52 - I know life is too short to put things off

Oh Mary,
I loved these pictures! Your grandchildren are really special. I honestly think you caught the personality of each child in the quilt you gave them. It was amazing to look at each frame and see how well you caught the perfect color and design. That takes an art which you have.
Thanks for sharing this with us. (me)

ps) Am I crazy or does the second pictured granddaughter look like your twin?

Mary, it was wonderful to see all these pictures. How long did you work on all those quilts? It sure like like all the kids really appreciate your efforts.

I have 7 grandchildren under the age of 11. I was thinking of maybe making each one of them a quilt for their 13th birthday (that way, there wouldn't be more than 1 per year!)
