What a fabulous tradition. All your 'grands' will have such great memories of making their quilts with you. With luck, both the memories and the quilts will last through their lifetimes.

And they must love all the one on one attention you lavish on them while making the quilts!

She did a beautiful job!!!!!!
What is the name of the pattern? I would love to do one with my DGD. She has taken an interes in sewing. I bought her a piece of material with elastic gatherd an one end. She made a little sun dress. All she had to sew was one seam and hem, but she was really proud of it.

What a treasured time for both of you. Something I'm sure she has looked forward to for a long time. Congratulations, Gram.

What a wonderful thing to quilt with your granddaughter. You not only make a lovely quilt, but also cherished memories of time spent together.

I found it on quilterscache and it is called Mr Roosevelt's necktie
and I did some changes on the cutting, but basically followed the pattern.
