Amazing how great their memories are, huh. I've told my grandchildren that most fabric has memory. It came from an article of clothing, or was scraps from another quilt or scraps from another sewing project. Each time I make a quilt, I challenge them to see which fabrics they remember. It's really fun. Thanks for sharing your story, your beautiful grand daughter and your quilt.
