Default Granddaughter's Log Cabin quilt is coming along....

Finally reached the design stage for DGD Catherine's quilt. Not sure I like the design in the photo but will try out several arrangments, need a bigger space to layout all of the blocks. Keep your fingers crossed that I have it finshed ASAP as I'd like to give it to her at Christmas. It's not a Christmas gift but she is hosting Christmas dinner and I think it would be an ideal time to present it to her. I think this quilt was mid way on my UFO 2011 List and I'll be more than happy when I can cross it off the list. May

Your quilt is very striking. I love you choice of colors. I'm sure Catherine will be delighted with it.

It is beautiful, however you decide to put your blocks together. I have fabric for a black white, and taupe quilt that I cant decide a pattern for. You may have convinced me to do log cabin. It is such a striking combo. Thanks for the inspiration.

Love your quilt. I am still collecting black, white, and red for a quilt. Your grand daughter will love it.
