My Granddaughter is 21 almost 22 and graduating this year from Western State in Gunnison CO with a graphics artists degree.. She is also a quilter... Do you know how exciting to have a 22 year old that wants to quilt !!! And your granddaughter!!! I love it.. she also wants to quilt her own quilts... and she had quilted 3 of her own... but it was time to really learn this machine. We put on a panel and this is it.. Don't the bears look just like they are jumping out at you!!!
No only do you learn the stitching you learn when to turn on and off the precision stitch regulator. when to turn on/off the machine... stitch length... etc...

Absolutely beautiful. You are a good teacher and DGD is a good learner.

Great job - love the detail that her quilting added. She is going to be a fantastic quilter. I am still afraid to try and happy that she is learning so young. You should have added . . . a 22 year old that wants to quilt, your granddaughter and looks like you (assuming she is pictured in your Avatar with you.
