It's a great scrappy quilt and I like the pattern with some larger areas for unique quilting.

I have made this quilt and loved the pattern name because my Mother-in-law was Grandma Mary and thought my daughter's need the quilt. Used jelly roll and my daughter wanted pink print for the large squares and an orange print for the "5 patches". It was wild - but she loves it. I have the 2nd daughter's ready to work on and I have a jelly roll that I will make for myself too. It is a fun quilt to make.

It is amazing how different fabrics can change the way a pattern looks. I used this pattern to make a baby girl quilt and because of the different fabrics/colors, I didn't recognize the pattern. I love your choice of fabrics and love your finished quilt! Now, I want to make another!

It's just a square surrounded with side strips and top and bottom strips with corner stones. Then the rest is sashing with more corner stones. All the corner stones are white, which makes the "nine patches".

Lovely scrappy quilt. I know that one as uneven 9 patch.
