I like the way you changed up some of the centers and the way you treated the edge with smaller flowers. It has a wonderful old fashioned feel to it. Very, very nice.

I do too. I did the same flower setting that you did along your side on the top and bottom edge of mine. CONGRATULATION on getting the top finished. Mine is still hanging in the closet.

I like what you did with the smaller side flowers. They pop in a very visual way. The top and bottom half blocks moving the "flower" center down so it is whole works well too. A lot of creativity as well as work has gone into this top.

I'm thinking it is going to be bias binding, which I've never done before, so that will be a first as well. I was considering facing it but I folded squares around the papers so some places it is a little more than a 1/4 in the back. Of course, I need to quilt it first!
It's not a mistake, it's an unconscious decision to change the pattern.

The finished size is 112 1/4 by 92 inches, so a queen with a pillow tuck. I will be hand quilting it in the traditional method starting this winter, but since I still have to piece the back together and baste it I will still be working on it.

    Thanks for looking!!
It is just fabulous I love that pattern reminds me of my maternal grandmother. She is gone but her memories live on.

LOVE IT! Great job! I just got a GFG back from my hand quilter....I knew it would take me a decade if I tried to hand quilt it myself.

Congratulation!!!! It looks wonderful. I finish mine a couple of weeks ago but to tell you the truth the idea of all that hand quilting is almost to much for my brain to think about. Maybe I will send mine to you and you can do two at one time! lol
