Thread: Granmothers flowerbasket quilt

    Just got this back from my longarm quilter. She did an excellent job on it.Wish I were a better photo taker.It looks much better in person.The flower baskets are appliqued and the flowers are english paper peiced.

    Thank you for all the kind comments.I'm so happy to have this quilt DONE! It had been in my UFO's off and on for more than 2 yrs .I had all the flower basket blocks done long ago but just couldn't find the inspiration to make the sashing and put it all together.It 's from a pattern in Fons and porter magazine with a lesson on English paper piecing.     I sooooooooooooooooo love this quilt. The fabric choice is perfect. You picked out the perfect fabric for the block. What fabric line did you choose? I just love it.
